Children become pro-active in their own education. They learn from carrying out scientific experiments which explore the basic properties of water.
Moreover, a cross-curricular approach broadens the children's education on water and encompasses history, geography, citizenship, English and craft, design and technology.
Finally, children learn how to act in an environmentally friendly way and are made aware that water is a rare, fragile and essential resource that must be conserved and shared.
